Creating a great print product starts with proper preparation of your document. Peecho accepts PDF and image files in JPEG and PNG format.
Below you can find the most important requirements and suggestions in order to have a high quality print.
1. File Setup
All fonts should be embedded in the document, and transparencies should be flattened.
PDF version should be 1.4 or higher.
2. Colour Profile
RGB is the most used colour mode for screens and digital uses, CMYK is more recommended when designing something that will be printed. CMYK is intended for print-based design because the colour values determine how much cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink is used by the printer for each colour. Having said that, there is no definitive answer in which one should be applied, taken into consideration that depending on the printing facility that your order will be produced, it will be altered regardless.
3. Margins
It is advised to leave at least 1 cm of free space alongside the borders of your page for the cover and 2 cm near the spine. On the inside document we recommend Peecho end users to leave at least 1 cm clear space near the borders of your document.
4. Resolution
When it comes to photographs we recommend 150 DPI (dots per Inch) at the maximum print size for other images 220 DPI at least is ideal.
5. Available Sizes
Magazines are accessible on standard sizes like A4 and Letter, as well as dynamic (non-standard)
