To ensure a great print product, it's important to prepare your document properly. At Peecho, we accept PDF files, as well as JPEG and PNG images. Here are some important guidelines and tips to help you achieve high-quality prints:
-
File Setup:
- Embed all fonts in your document and flatten any transparencies.
- For books, magazines, and multi-page files, please use PDF format. For wall decorations, JPEG and PNG formats are accepted.
- It's best to have an even number of pages in your file. While odd numbers are accepted, they may result in a blank back, which is typically not desired.
-
Colour Profile:
- RGB is commonly used for screens and digital purposes, while CMYK is recommended for print design. CMYK ensures that the printer uses the correct amounts of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink for accurate color reproduction. However, please note that the final output may vary slightly depending on the printing facility.
-
Margins:
- Leave at least 1 cm of free space along the borders of your page for the cover, and 2 mm near the spine.
- Inside the document, it's recommended to maintain a 1 cm clear space near the borders. There's no need to add bleeds or cut marks, as our system will automatically generate them.
-
Resolution:
- For photographs, it's best to use a resolution of 150 DPI (dots per inch) at the maximum print size. For other images, a minimum resolution of 220 DPI is ideal.
-
Available Sizes:
- Magazines are available in standard sizes like A4 and Letter, as well as dynamic (non-standard) sizes.
- Hardcover books come in fixed sizes.
- Wall decorations have fixed sizes for canvases and dynamic sizes for prints.

Please note that Aluminium Dibonds, Foam Boards, and Aluminium Dibonds with Plexiglass are currently only available for customers based in Europe.
- When preparing your files, it's recommended to avoid enlarging them or changing the ratio. For example, if you'd like to order an A4 size, you can upload an A5 file, but not the other way around. Enlarging a smaller file may result in reduced quality.
-
Spine:
- Hardcover books and magazines come with a white/blank spine. Customizing the spine is a feature available to users with a Peecho account.
