The following might sometimes happen after a Publication is uploaded on your personal Peecho Dashboard:
- the Thumbnail is not generated and shows the Peecho logo instead
- the Preview and Thumbnail are blurry or the colors are washed-out.
Important note: The Thumbnail and Preview do not represent the real-life print. The files themselves are the ones that are being converted into print-ready documents and sent to our print partners. The Preview's purpose is to give an idea of how the first 8 pages will be organized in the book.
This happens mostly with documents that have really high resolution. The system needs to downgrade the quality so that the order form - which displays the Thumbnail - loads quickly.
If the Thumbnail isn't generated properly a few hours after the Publication was created, you can contact us and we can try to re-generate the Thumbnail manually. Alternatively, you can host your own Thumbnail at a public online location and insert the link on the field called "Thumbnail URL" on the Publication's Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page, as displayed on the image below.
