The products come at a Wholesale price plus shipping which your customer pays to Peecho on the checkout/order form. If you wish to make Profit from the sales, then you can do that by adding it on the Wholesale price.
Note: Our system will evaluate your uploaded files and will only display products that match the size requirements of the file.
For example, a PDF whose dimensions are smaller than A4 will not be eligible to get printed as an A4: Peecho will not enlarge the file because the quality deteriorates.
Similarly, a PDF with less than 24 pages will not be eligible to get printed as a Hardcover book: the minimum page count for Hardcover books is 24.
Single page files are only eligible for wall decoration products.
A. Setting up your Products Catalogue and Profit Margins
The first thing you need to decide is whether you will allow customers to choose between all (or most) available book categories and wall decoration categories they prefer, or only specific book categories (e.g. only matte magazines) and wall decoration categories (e.g. only canvas).
This is a great option if you wish to give customers the freedom to choose the type of book or wall decoration of their liking, as well as allow them to choose between different sizes!
Once you have decided that, it is time to proceed with specifying the products on your Catalogue. You can do that on Settings -> Products (see screenshot below).
To easily set up and sell multiple product categories and sizes, we have created profit schemes per product category. This means that the same profit margin will automatically be added to all your products within that category.
For example, 10% on all Matte Magazines, 20% on all Hardcover books etc.
For Digital Publications, you can specify a fixed amount - and not a percentage - on top of the Wholesale price.
If you want to exclude a certain category, uncheck the box for it. These settings are applied to your entire account so if you deselect a product category, you will not be able to sell any Publications in this category.
When finished, click Save at the bottom of the page.
B. Selling your product in one Product type and size only
If you do not wish to work with Profit Margins but would rather set Fixed Prices on your Publications, then you need to work with Fixed Products and Sizes instead. The reason for this is that the system needs to know in advance what the Wholesale Price of a customer's order will be, otherwise you will be making a loss. Fixed Prices and Products are determined on the Publication level.
This is a great option if you are convinced that your work looks better as a specific product, if you address a specific market, or simply want to have control over your sales. For example, a magazine publisher might only want to sell their publication as Softcover Magazine in Medium size only, or a photographer might choose to only sell their photo as a large Aluminium Dibond.
After you upload the file, it will convert into a Publication on your Uploads. The Publication page contains a series of settings. Start creating your Fixed Product by specifying the preferences at the top: product type, color (full color or black & white), and size. You can also add a title to your publication in this section, which will be displayed on the checkout. Click Save.
Next, you can specify the price settings for the Fixed Product in the Set price for fixed product section. The system is already displaying the Wholesale Price for the selection made on the previous section. Fill in the Set the price field with the price that the customers will pay for the Fixed Product and click outside the field. The system will automatically display the Your profit field i.e. the difference between the Fixed Price and the Wholesale Price. Click Save to implement your preferences.
In the example below, the wholesale price for the Dynamic Dibond in size Medium is EUR 29,66. If you choose to sell it for EUR 44,00 per piece, your Profit will be EUR 14,34 per piece.
